I cared for you with all my heart,

I gave you all of me right from the start.

I cared for you when everyone told me not to,

I promised you I'd be there for you no matter

what we went through.

I cared for you when you decided to hurt me,

the things you did and said I didn't agree with,

but I still considered you a part of me.

I cared for you when things got hard on your part,

losing your job, then your apartment, I was there...

I took it upon myself to help you out in that department.

I cared for you with everything I had inside me, But the only thing

you did was take advantage of that, you took my 

heart and broke it like glass, I can never understand why you'd

do me like dat.

I once cared for you while trying to protect my heart from

all the s*** you would do, Now I realize that it wasn't worth it.

I once cared for you but now I'm through I admit, but to you

I can no longer commit.
