I watched her as she Sat on the porch swing Bathing in the summer breeze Doing her own thing I Can't help but think is It me she's thinking of Or how because of her I know what love is I believe in love like Never before never wanted anything More than what she's given Me that feeling she gives Me every morning every time I look at her sun Kissed lips her chocolate dipped Hips and her sugar brown Eyes I begin to realize She is more than that She is power but at The same time a delicate Flower she is beauty and Brains with elegance and grace She reigns she is my Joy through the pain my Sunshine after the rain To the outside world her Ways can seem peculiar or Maybe even a bit odd But I know something they Don't know this angel before Me was truly kissed by God © Poetic Justice 2014
