WHERE ARE THE PEOPLE, AFRICA?

Where are the people, who should have been building you

They’ve been taken to build the Americas

Generations of builders are gone, is this true

Yes, they’ve been building the rest of the world you know

While the building of Africa

Should have been going on

The men and women builders

Suddenly, they are all gone

Where are the cities, where are the streets

Where are the places where everyone meets

Where are the buildings, tell me my son

While you should have been building, what have you done

Where are the structures that should have been here

I demand an answer! I want to hear

Where is the science and industry

You should have advanced, where can they be

Where are the monuments showing your fame

Where is your history glorified

Why don’t I see them, it’s truly a shame

I think you’ve been living a lie

But I did build the cities, the states and the streets

The places I built are where everyone meets

The buildings I built hold the world’s greatest treasures

I built the places where all go for pleasure

My strength was used to build all that you see

I labored around the whole planet for free!

Where are the people that should have been building you

They have been busily building the world

They did not forsake you land of my fathers

They tried to stay, but were stolen away

They did not forsake you, land of my mothers

They were forced to build elsewhere, the Megacaust way

Britain, France, Portugal, Holland and Spain

Europeans ruthlessley stole me from you

Diamonds, gold, ivory, silver and platinum

Yes, they also stole you from me, this is true

Britain, France, Portugal, Holland and Spain

Europeans mercilessly gained stolen profits from me

They also took everything they could from the land

Stolen profits from you too, as can plainly be seen

Now they look at you as if all of this time

You were not advancing and should be ashamed

25 generations were not there to build you

It’s them who are clearly to blame

Now they look at me as if all of this time

I was not advancing and should be ashamed

25 generations, freedom and future stolen

It’s them who are clearly to blame

Let’s look for a moment at where you would be

If we had been there to build you

Over 400 years of human progress

Africa would have been renewed

Already you had great places of learning

Science, government and history

If 25 generations were there building upon each other

How much more advanced would you be

Religions like Islam and Christianity

Were created there and passed through the ages

We surely would have continued to cultivate our cultures

As time turned history’s pages

Astronomy, philosophy that man uses now

Were created and developed by us while in you

If 400 years of knowledge were added, not subtracted

We’d be saying how mighty you grew

And those 400 years, 25 generations

And all of the promise inside

Would not have enriched Europeans and the Americas

In Africa, the people and countries would’ve thrived

And this wicked scenario that we now have

Is not what you would see

Not a third world continent, but first world countries

Is surely what Africa would be

You wonder where Europe and the Americas would be

How much slower they would have grown

If Africa had kept it’s people and power

And they only could use their own

Where are your people, who should have been building you

They’ve been taken to build the Americas

Generations of builders are gone, is this true

Yes, they’ve been building the rest of the world you know

But God has a way of correcting the wrongs

Done by man and the future is bright

New generations are born stronger than ever

Who will build you with all of their might

Where are the people who should have been building you

They stand on the edge of tomorrow, to this end

They’ll build Africa and more, with greatness and power

You’ll be respected by the rest of the world again
