glides effortlessly
through the universe
rewriting genetic codes
and history
from inside out,
forward or backwards
or both,
stealth fully
propelling itself
as if by will intent
…through
the corridors of life…
like water
pouring endlessly
between the air,
earth and sky
seeking its pathway
between
loose grains of sand,
back and forth
through
the myriad currents
in the oceans,
through the clouds
or glaciers
on its way
back through
the never ending
cycle of life
in the air earth seas
upon seeking an advantage
at the point
of lowest resistance
shadow warriors propel themselves quietly
in and out of the shadows,
measuring each footstep, pondering the
consequence and chance of discovery
each one must abide by sets of rules
one must endure accepting the risks,
which exist in this pattern of existence
these guidelines and principles of life
to which we must comply
patterns upon which success depends
