"May I have this dance?"
His arm streched out, allowing me
to give him a chance,
I take his hand... Nervous I stand....
slowly I follow behind, him leading the way,
he turned around grabbing my right hand.
softly pulling me close, our eyes met.
No words exchanged, our eyes did that talking
for us, the moment set.
The sound of jazz play in the background, my mind
instantly went to tunnel vision, on one else around.
Without hesitation my body moved in rythm with his,
Each movement hynotic,
my feelings transporting through his body, his through mine,
The feeling so powerful, like taking that powerful narcotic.
Laying my head on his chest, I embraced the moment,
I listend to his heart sing, feelings intense,
what I was feeling wasn't an illusion.
