Its ancient luster lost so long ago
This burnt out behemoth cast adrift
Dreams lived forever ...in heroic daze
A magnificent vessel in its prime
A hunter-killer of all in its path
A ship so stylishly designed
Lavishly fitted for its time
A casualty of conflicts
Beyond this planet
On faraway lands
Before it met its match
Beneath twin now decaying towers
Hidden well in Saturn’s rings of debris
Which sought out with deadly fire ...its foe
With planned precision the blows delivered
Destiny closed in and killing fields were plowed
Sealed by its fate ...its crew fought desperately
Swiftly recovered, but too late ...died valiantly
Delivered in a fiery death ...to their icy graves
Just as the ancient warriors ...once did
Beneath earths ...restless seas
Some things never change
