Visions of sitting aside my granny grave wishing she was alive I remember the last time I looked at her eyes they was very glossy and watery because she knew she was gonna die watching her lay in a hospital bed brought tears to my eyes knowing it's out of my hands only the Lord can decide so I did the most I can do just be by her side what a wonderful world louis Armstrong was the song you wanted to hear before you died you wasn't able to speak so you hummed your favorite song I was dieing inside trying my best to be strong at times I can still hear you calling me but I'm so far away from home you meant so much to me it's hard not to have a frown watching you take your last breaths felt like a doctor cutting me open and squeezing my heart watching your body turn colder then snow I guess the Lord is real your bodies here but your soul is gone I even help put you in a body bag how hard is that my hands shaking like I was a alcoholic needing his whiskey rolling you to the elevator just to turn you over to the funeral home services sliding you in the back of a van tears dropping on my shoes like it's raining looking up to the sky while I say my last good byes Lord thank you for bringing such a wonderful woman in my life I guess she was a angel cause she brought nothing but love and smiles to my life!
