I don’t need friends
I don't fit in
I need comfort
a chair to sit in
a microphone
in my hand
to spit in
don't need chips
if there's no dip
if you ain't hip
zip your lip
standoff from the
crowd smoking loud
thrive for peace
look to the Tao
all my life
been on trial
trying to escape
tribulation
fact is fact
there's always
temptation
frustrated from
being frustrated
cannot relate
to the mind state
of those who are
always late
slow impulse
low heart rate
stopping the clock
too many times
there's not enough
time to rewind
a few more minutes
could be the last time
we ever see time
