I want joy...

The sun feel warm..

When you look at it with closed eyes

That orange warm light against your eyelids...

Don't open ya eyes that sunlight will blind ya dumb ass..

Take a mental picture Polaroid of that warm feeling...

Put it in ya front pocket

If ya sit on that warm sunshine it a heat up..

Setcha hindparts on fire...

That lil boy ran six blocks

With 23 cents a green apple Nowlater

And all the sunshine he could remember in his front pocket...

Slamming the screen door to a two room tenement

Darkened by unpaid electric bill..

That lil boy wasn't scared his momma said he act like his daddy..

He just reached in his front pocket and pulled out his sunshine..

I swear to god that warm glow filled that tiny matchbox apartment...

His lil sister washed her face with sunshine...

I ain't lyin...

That warm sunlight lasted 2 or 3 days...

Until his momma got the lights on....

Joy...
