I suppose we could take a trip through the cosmos,
Walk through history, sand between our toes,
And listen to the ocean preach to the beach,
The gospel is the tide delivering the moon's message to each,
Time and pressure turn mountains into hills of dirt,
And trillions of zillions of sand particles on earth,
The universe is vast, yet so small we can't see,
Beyond religion and rational thought, so who are we?
Like machines we program by zero and one,
Cause and effect creates and destroys everything, even our sun,
Does this tiny grain of sand in my hand contain a universe too?
How do my thoughts and actions affect you?
