I start the end of my day thinking about my mistakes,
Sometimes I never go to sleep, it takes,
Patience to calm my storm,
As clouds casts doubt and form,
I don't complain about the invetitble rain,
Nor abhor the meteorological metaphor that plays in my brain,
I watch everything again until it's done,
Then my mood brightens, enlightened by my internal sun,
As I witness (from a different perspective) today's blessings one by one,
Love, life, God, and things yet to be done.
