My heart, burried with the memories of her never to see the light of day i could have apologized instead i left, taking to the waves. Ignored the slow tears that ran down her woe-filled face. Misled by the sweet words of a silver tongue her love was betrayed, broke her heart with a promise i wasnt ready to make. echoes of a whisper drifting through the wind. This is the end bon voyage lady of the lake.
