Hello, Darkness

I feared to experience your presence but
What you brought was refreshing to the senses as my mind
Lay bewildered in the light of day, my face remained in place
But I still couldn't recognize my features
Until you became my one true friend, the constant that was inevitable
Unavoidable
I screamed for the sun to hail to me but no reprieve
I fell to my knees, "PLEASE","I need you"
Soon, I found great comfort in you
You brightened my Third eye to see through my wilderness that turned it into warm blankets and fluffy sheets
your warmth wrapped around me
and brought me to perfect peace.
