Lost Love

Maybe we shouldn’t had torn our heart into shreds

Maybe we should had tightened the threads that bind us

Even when the harsh conditions bite us harder

Maybe we should had weathered our storms

I took the first shot

The situation staring me in the face cut my hopes short

You’ll never understand,

I was pushed to the edge of my actions

I was bereft of the slightest of idea to contain your case

I hurriedly throw the towel because my elastic limit was outstretch

Ever since we parted companies, my happiness was compromised

It’s crystal obvious, you can see through my eyes

Ego is the world greatest nightmare, it cast doubts on many futures

I could had contained the situation but attitude was everything
