C.A.N.C.E.R

Patient are the children, who wait, and watch as their mother lie in state...of pain For death is to come, their hearts they brace and prepare for the end of her race...against time The unknown of the hour, anticipating the day weakening from weeks, of hearing the doctor say...not long Memories are shared with hugs and smiles while the tears they shed stretch for miles...No End To the pain they'll bear, there is no cure they can not feel, what she had to endure...many years Quiet as kept, like a secret untold, mother hid her sickness, ageing not from old...father time The devourer of all things, three still remained Air, Water, and Her Life, soon death's gain...Not Loss Are words to the question, they can not answer Why their mother had to fight against cancer...never know That they wont, but God knows best, In Peace My Children All Now Can Eternally Rest.
