On a warm summer night the sky is filled with a sea of stars, like the dreams we shared that once were ours.
I longed for that star to touch my face but in the chill of the evening it would leave in a haste.
The beauty of that star will shine on for the whole world to see but never will I forget that that star once burned for you and me.
Our love has perished but that star I will always cherish, it was free and so bright sometimes I still wish I could see it each and every night.
