I've been covered in debt Smothered in laborious sweat I dug deep enough And then I uncovered regret It's hard to accept Failure for every attempt At success Is difficult to accept Nothing but pain I seem to collect Even though I continue To develop my intellect and dialect I continue to regress I confess Somehow unable To take the lot of dots and connect Knowing I'm doing things right But not definite If the methods are correct Daily feeling angered And detrimentally depressed Instead of per-fect Dire effect of distress And stressful events Effect the intended event Outcome instead Is pain and regret About the 'MENT' of 'RESENT' Im really hard to impress What do you expect? I cry, whine and lament On the high level % of neglect I'm apparently the subject Of cosmic disrespect Instead of success My only request Is to be blessed In a method express Not monetarily But to be blessed With nothing left Of any tests And grant me Plenty se-re-ni-ty And emotional rest So my sense of respect Can be left unsaid Because I'm not sure How to prevent Anymore abhorring stress ~elm~
