My Pops said I was a Prince, and that I'd grow to a King, one day I'll write, just make some sense of all the that I seen, my reality is real, don't cry when taking them chances, know some gentlemen who steal, but kill in them circumstances, along this road I met some cats, the real salute me, and nod, it's like a code amongst us Blacks, me I salute with Peace God, give respect to all of earth, see tombs that's buried, unseen, give respect that I was birthed, straight out the womb of a Queen, I couldn't bend, and wouldn't break, look any man in the eyes, couldn't pretend, and wouldn't fake, a man who tell you no lies, I know I'll see my Pops again, after my casket touch ground, when I see my Pops again, just wanna ask if he proud?
