Do you remember the last time we spoke? Guess not, it’s been while. When was the last time we had a smoke? I know it’s been a while. Remember that time we broke Old Man Willy's window? Nah? Maybe cuz it’s been a while. Remember that silly face you used to make to cheer me up? Don't answer cuz I know it’s been a while. I wish I can see you smile as I stand at your grave. God knows I need to be brave. I miss you Richard, wish you on the other end of the phone when I call the house. Miss the way you used to be there when I needed you. Now I feel cold and blue and discouraged. My heart was once high but now it’s sunk low. Patiently waiting for the day we see each other again. Hope you open those gate but I know it’s going to be a while and once again I know it’s been a while.
