watch folks
wandering the street
Winter time a real tough time
to be home-less wandering around
Huddled all up at the bus stop
bench early in the darken morning
that pack on their back
their only belongings
Its such a pity when you get down
and dirty with the real nity gritty
too many folks home-less in such
a metropolitan city
in American the land
of plenty
Seems everyone blink their eye
abra cadabra they are
not there
I am heading home to my
comfort zone
Everyday people can help once
in a while
do somethin for someone home-less
make someone smile
Just the thought means I see
you
it could easily be me
too
