Pretending they were your arms
I'm wrapped up under
The warmth I feel
A perfect simulation
Of a love so real
Yet I keep you at a arms distance
Trying to penetrate these walls of Jericho

In search of the treasure
You dig deep, brave the fire, cross my seas
You've become my prisoner
For these walls don't fall easily
But I let you in, with a list
Of hoops to jump through prolifically
& maybe just maybe when you've tired out
You'll lay your head on my chest
& have your mind made up, ready to settle down
