Tormented eyes bugled
from cryptic sockets:
testaments of hunger's victory.
Then loudly came the chiling voice
piercing the solemn silence---screaming:
"Go away! Can't you see
this is a church step!"
Then the saved ones
went in to pray:
I gave her my tithes
and walked away.
