Walking in our destined path.
Blinded by the rays of the sunset.
Even more blinded by love.
We were guiding each other... hand in hand.
We were inseparable.
Our love was immeasurable...until the cold settled in.
Foolishly, I didn't pull you closer.
In avoidance of the cracks that were between us.
I couldn't pull you to safety.
I couldn't pull myself to safety.
The space just kept increasing.
To a point were the glimmer in your eyes seemed as though it was the stars in the sky.
You were a shooting star of which I dreamt of wishing upon.
You were on your way.
We were heading towards a T-Junction.
Your way being left and mine being to the right.
I thought my decision was right.
Till I looked back and you were out of sight.
Out of mind and out of reach. I was to you.
With regrets acknowledgment.
I was.
Ungrateful to be part of your life.
