The reflection I saw in the lake, is an image of what I make. The outward appearance is appealing, but the inward parts are all too revealing. I gazed into my eyes searching for something new, yet I found that I was looking melancholy and sort of blue. I found no peace at the waters edge, the sound of the forest seemed so dead. I stepped in to purify my thoughts and recall my dreams. Then I swam across the cool deep ravine. Upon making it to the other side, I looked back over the great divide. Only to notice something in the distance, it was me and I looked happy for a difference.
