we built up 

our defences 

which held up well 

for the first few strikes 

but, the bindings weakened 

and our reliance upon trappings 

made us unprepared ...to face the truth 

about ourselves... to realize this 

as being proof ...our way 

needed more real 

and less...

pretense 

our impatience

to consider 

what is necessary 

for us to deliver consistant 

progress... 

given sufficient time 

to process 

the existent weakness 

and create a greater  strength 

so, this time... 

when the wolves approach 

we 

will be prepared 

to be united... 

and stand strong 

undivided... 

so that 

the enemy will 

attack us 

only 

to their peril...

and we will prosper 

our will strong 

we have...

one more time...

to choose 

we will prevail ...or perish
