My face pressed hard
Against the glass of the windowpane
Tears are falling, my life will never to be the same
Looking at the world outside, cold and lonely
Wondering just why you left me behind
All I had thought, we’d gained

I still hear echoes of your love’s calling
The glow of the day’s last fading light
