As i bask, in the ocean of your love
Today brought another bright spot
Inspired by you into my life.
It brought with it radiant beams of promise.
Coming so strongly
I was simply
in a word, overwhelmed…
That i had to retire, to return home
To retreat and become immersed
To the comfort of the ocean of you
let the feelings marinate awhile
Taking off my clothing and daydream
what did all this really mean?
To experience the joy,
simply of your face with its familiar glow,
lighted by loving expressions l
ay my naked between the sheets
heavy layers of multiple blankets
and warmth clothed
myself in the comforting realm
of darkness alone in my cold apartment
and slept, i waiting like a child
for you to come into my life
you, my love and i together, again
once more tasting loves energy,
within a sense of our destiny
with subliminal forces at play
Around and about us and in our lives
in a way almost surreal,
as if in another space in time
celebration of the moment
if even, only to be in our dreams…
Immersed in thoughts
Your reality had inspired in me
This is a special day
for one of any number of reasons
being particularly intense,
filling my mind and heart
a heartbeat, with a resonance,
I fed upon starving poet,
hungry for the words i found in you,
opened up my favorite book,
my love sonnets basking in the spirit of you
then you called to light the spark
within my heart and enflame my passions,
set fiercely ablaze
with loving life in focus
in a perfectly executed swan dive
played in slow motion
In my mind seeing time stand still
While we laughed and played
first like innocent children
then, as bold lovers immersed
in a world whose rules become reality
As expressed by waves of love
Emanations in its wake
more powerful
than any alternate reality
As natural as any other
Manifestation or expression
of creation displaced by our emotions
Extending through
The entirety of our event horizon
Viewed from the inside out
Lovingly, inspired
By an act of loving
Being a natural expression
In all its beauty of life
Balancing our emotions perfectly
Then, we feel the rush as we plunge forward
rushing headlong into the abyss
falling together into oblivion
As opposed to falling alone
Falling together
Defying all odds
in an act of loves truth
as certain as the influence
Overcame all other perceptions
Of reality as you and i
Gathered, running naked
thru the spiritual pools of love
If effort to reaffirm
And consummate our vows
To, of, in, for that entity
That runs true to our hearts
True to the spirit of love
What humanity calls gods of love
definitions of divinity
Not idolized, but celebrated
For in itself it is true and to itself,
It is love, a higher form of being
Not needing, Intervention to pursue
Which destroys the sanctity
of the act for in its truth
it is reality and by its own rights
validated, in itself
Vindicated becoming a truth in itself
As i, without hesitation
Dived right on in
became immersed…
In the
