once i was riding high on the sunrise

…i was a searching+soul…

all my rivers ran directly to the sea

all my mountains touched the stars

then a tidal wave unexpectedly

came wiping out almost all continuity

but now that my tide has ebbed,

my mountains fallen into the sea,

with windblown dust burning my eyes

…now, i cannot even see the sky…

and my rivers have all run dry

now that i have fallen here+below

lightning+flash and thunder+roar

cold winds blow harshly

as if to penetrate thru my very+soul

before my fall…

i sounded my …distress+call…

…did you hear me, clearly…?

as you hover motionlessly near

attentively+effecting vital+repairs

…with you, here …i have no fear…

are you here or a mirage, i just smile

…can you hear me calling you…?
