Twisted

A single snowflake 

of many

falls in its own 

silent space 

carried by cold 

driving downward

following a twisted path

riding gusts of cold wind

through the forest

as trees moan in chorus

relentlessly crying

making a haunting refrain

moonlight dawning

just in time...

to find a tiny snowflake

at an angle just right

it caught my eye

for no particular reason

but, it did

and so i noticed 

its plight

among millions 

upon millions of others

as if to signify in this brief 

moment of existence

acting upon seemingly random objects

in periodic shifts 

as gravimetric forces realign

Arriving in a ripple of revolving space-time

As if, Your spirit climbing into mine

As the bubble envelopes us

A warming glow lights our capsule

A black hole opening near us

We swan dive into a dream state
