as if, in a small boat
as we travel to
a world afar
...falling
through the hole
in the spiral galaxies
colliding,
without touching,
with molecules
turned
inside out...
here
amidst the
background radiation
of the sun,
in the starfield
that streams along
as if knowing us,
aware we're here
putting on such a show
fantastic showers of light
giving us a moon
which flashes us
in phases...

turns the tides
affecting
our emotions
showering us
with
unseen energies
in waves,
surrounding us...

of consciousness

of life beyond

cosmic wave
goes on by...
with us, in tow
we are still afraid,
but there's just
nowhere

fellow passengers
on a train
sparks of human life
carried helplessly

...as if unaware
of our importance
to one another
