a simple ...man

the creator over all 
watches over us, 
seeing many colors 
of the rainbow 
raises us together
 even if it’s 
from within 
the discrete communities 
…in which we live… 
we people, 
may be said 
to represent 
different angles 
in our views in life 
of circumstances 
fitting us uniquely
just as we 
cannot necessarily 
wear each others shoes
we can not on our own will 
reach out 
without precondition, 
ally with others,
 demanding compliance 
…with our wishes…
then, say that we 
are giving freely. 
when it is more
 than we admit 
to ourselves, 
that has been allowed.
 we gain a power
 in knowing
when inclined, 
we strive 
to become aligned 
with one another. 
all the while, 
if there is no 
greater sense of purpose 
then how can i intend
as a simple man, hope 
to profess my love
