Once upon eternity ago
On a ball of dust spun off the sun
Taking a step out in space and time
from a place far across the great beyond
Never one to wait for the fates to decide
Grabbed a comet by the tail… went out for a ride
Cause the golden chariot was still in the garage
Felt a little down …had to step outside, awhile
Saw a little lonely planet …there below
A soulful stranger, i touched down upon the scene
Skipped a stone across the seven seas
Just to get into the flow
As the interplanetary orbital pathways
Gradually became more aligned
My heartstrings become entuned
With the wolves, howling to the moon
Spun off into orbit into a vacant spot in space
Had to meditate to find my place in mind
Here, now and forever… Looking through the heavens
Unsure what I came here for …still, looking for a sign…
Watching as swirling clouds of cosmic dust
Gently pulse and glow …climbing through the vortex
Towards a distant galaxy …as they’re drawn further along
falling
away
through
time
