Ain't i black ain't I strong my culture came along way and we still exist ain't i black i love listening to oldies motown to be exact soul food is my favorite dish partying and dancing is my favorite thing ain't I black I hang out with my brothers laugh and sip hennesy remenice on all the old memories poverty is were you can find me trying my best to hit the lottery 9 to 5 ain't getting it fighting to stay alive because my own kind is like my enemy trapped in a crooked system looking back on black history we came along way from Rosa Parks refusing to sit on the back of the bus,Martin Luther King marching in the streets preaching peace still getting beat,Rodney King screaming in the LA streets Nat Turner tired of seeing his people hung he tried to fight back and his body was flayed, beheaded and quartered terrified kids witnessed this torture ain't i black ain't I strong they hate to see unity so they poisoned are community and still none of your drugs got through to me aint i black aint i strong im a good brother that come from the slums were the streets is full of bums and life feels like its hard to carry on but still I rise still I strive can't nothing stop this black pride!
