I was almost close to rebellion as you tempted me, but it takes more than deception to decieve me
When you beared false witness and lied on me, My eyes of faith saw God at work in everything
Even as you humiliate, slander my name, It was Gods grace and assurance that kept me sane
You stayed critisizing me, and I replaced it with compassion
Yes you wished harm on me, and my praise just got greater
Perserverance in hope, Restoration divine
Annialate and abandon me, and watch how victory is mine
My faith stays strong, in God I carry on
Trusting in the Lord, praying mercy on your soul
For the day you are scorn
