The Poem Of Truth

This isn't a regular poem

I always told the Most High that I would speak the truth through my words, so this is keeping my word to him

This isn't a love poem

This isn't about falling in love in 6th grade

With a girl who used to sit by you on the school bus, you remember that one chocolate skinned girl with the long braids?

Yeah this isn't that poem. This isn't a poem where I spew about black power or loving each other

Cause truth be told, statistics show that even though we support black lives matters we still gang banging and killing over colors and street signs named after white men and Mexican abolitionists instead of loving our brothers

Nah, this ain't that poem. And no offense to nobody but I aint got alot of big words and dope references

I probably won't write anything for you to awe at its excellence.

What this poem is......is the truth.

It's written by the young boy who drank so much kool-aid as a child, that they lasered out every tooth

It's written by an older version of the boy who let the girl from 6th grade get away

Cause I was too busy sagging my pants and throw up signs of a gang

This is one of them poems.

Written by the boy who struggled with masturbation since he 13

Waiting on moms to go to sleep so xvideos movies and PornHub scenes could kept me up at night leaving no time to dream

Yeah ninja, it's one of them poems

The one thats about a young man who is just trying to find his way

Cause I'll be 23 in a week but the doctor told my mother I'd never get be here but she continued to pray

Cuh, Blood, this one of them poems

Written by a boy who almost got swallowed up by the mentality of blue and red

Cause the devil figured he couldn't get me in the womb so he wanted to give me a color and put a price on my head

This is one of them poems. And as the story unfolds

I'll keep telling the truth and make sure I put it in bold.
