Broken

No one knew that daddy's baby girl had been through hell and back beginning at the age of nine. Crying silent tears that burned inside of her eyes. That night she was broken afterwards rolled over and went to sleep. Spoke no word of this, this was another one of those "painful secrets" she would always keep. On the outside she is smiling, but on the inside hysterically crying. Wanting to tell someone, anyone, but she is terrified, because she knows that they will say that she was lying. 

She waits in the darkness for mom to realize that something is wrong. Why does she feel weak when she has always been strong?
