The boyz in the hood are always hard/Fresh like new concrete- they get stepped on and finger printed but remain hard/juggle women like a juggler juggle balls/father figures fictional/only outlet is drugs, hustling, gangs, and sports/so they high,trappin,bangin, scoring/Living to die and deaths on every corner/street skilled statistics struggling, surviving/"projects"- who's experiment? Observation we still here/ anomie theory is what they call it/free clinic, government cheese, Tuskegee experiment,animal conditioning, poverty/ we've been exposed to it-enmity /jail or death is the options yet we crash through the middle fork/ball breakers can't break brothers trying to get bread breathing/ no matter the reason we here/get use to/tough as nails cuz hammers bang on us/ we still don't bend/ put us in a hole and watch us hold it down/ the boyz in the hood have to be hard/ due to cards dealt/situation always serious/ tough shell- we never crack/ crack a head if you test/ put under pressure we shine like diamonds/rhyme nor reason/ were simply built that way/hard,hated,hindered,hurt, human/ the boyz in the hood are always hard
