I had a dream once, One where I flung my arms back And felt a caress so tight. I couldn't help but feel at home. A place I haven't been in so long. Night comes as I close my eyes. Not wanting dream away, the perfect dream. I keep them closed. Enjoying a visit I thought I'd never feel. Tears swell at the well of my eyes. Remembering every smell. The feel of something so familiar. Home. A place I haven't been in so long. What is it like. Stepping across the threshold over the welcome mat into open arms of a place so warm. I open them now, my eyes. To see the day. Now older. I close my eyes even tighter. To a place that felt like home
