I still see your smile through it all
The nights spent alone
when your touch became mine
The silly times spent in between where the world itself echoed our laughter
Times that crooned to the sounds that went soundless
Words that were said without restraint
I never forgot our promise as time saw otherwise
Decisions made in haste
The hands that became reckless in the essence that pleasure could bare no more
The moments were so young then
Were my hands not strong enough
Did my voice dare break in the times you sulk shelter
Those words, and those alone
Began to vocalize the depth of the world that ached around me
