Don't Be Like That Spider, Let's Have A Drink

At small bar taverns & coffee shops, I find myself hidden in the back. Reclusive in the ever elusive shadow. Away from the gleam of her eyes. A prelude of unanswered calls of the cleverly Convenient cell phone. The quiet dimming of light in the silhouette of shadows. The lonely shutter of daylight savings time begins in emotion. Light spoken whispers in the wind. Swallowed by the smoke of a fresh lit cigarette. The bright lit cherry of Spring. Devoured by the hue of darkness. Empty hotel rooms awaiting the presence of another. Soon to be smashed. Stuck to the bottom of a shoe. Soon to be wiped off. Discarded on a paper napkin. Better that, than chased down and eaten after a few moments of pleasure. Some kind of life huh, Wait, spider where are you going!?
