A stage and the microphone is not for me
I only need a pen and a pad to create and perform my poetry...
I respect The Poetry Slam
But it's not for this man...
My expression of the art is mental
Your experience to be a part of my level...
My rhythmic visions of life's tales
Words that penetrate your mind and take sail...
View the horizon and the poetic scene through my eyes
Then you realize the words harmonize ....
Everything that I vision transform through me 
Brain waves, my blood is a poetic melody...
This is not a hobby people, this is what I love
This is the soul of me that is in my blood...
This is the blood of a poet, this is not taught in schools
I realized that I was a poet by reading the poetic scriptures of Maya Angelou...
And to my surprise I realized, 
I rise 
When those who read my poems was intrigued, 
The reaction was in their eyes...
But I'm not satisfied, I must always take the next step
I must always touch my audience and give them a poem they can't forget...
I write to inspire and uplift minds 
All through the blessings of writing a rhyme...
Its all God's design
And I can only thank The Almighty for giving me a creative mind...
This is not a hobby people, this is what I love
This is the soul of me that is in my blood...
