When you're my age the world will be a better place,
Men and women will work together to win the human race,
Disease, war, discrimination, and hunger will not be tolerated,
More fame and fortune will go to those who help others become better educated,
Not just those who play games, pretend to be other people, or tout opinions as fact,
The meek shall inherit the earth, where will you be at?
Maybe you'll be the scientist that cleans air and ocean pollution,
Or a politician that negotiates diplomatic solutions,
Or maybe you'll be a doctor that cures a deadly disease,
By discovering a new substance in the roots of rainforest trees,
Maybe you'll write a song that inspires someone 100 years from now,
Perhaps you'll be a farmer that humanely treats a cow,
Or you just might be the first person to greet an alien in outer space,
I can't wait to witness the day in the future when you achieve your fate.
