Things that do and don't work, life's success and regret,
Had I been more selfish, I'd probably own me a jet,
A wife and a kid means less money and sex,
Shouda' bet on myself and started a business,
I keep asking for permission when I should've begged for forgiveness,
I work hard for my thousands, make my boss tens of millions,
I gotta save up to pay taxes, while my company makes billions,
Was posta' be a playa president,
Make the White House my residence,
Now my sky's limited, far from the best of the rest,
Wish I was a mutant or had a "S" on my chest,
But I'm just above average, still a pro in my field,
On the bench with low minutes, but I still got some skill,
It's a struggle sometimes to not keep 'ish real,
So I wear a mask like Jabawokkies and Dunbar,
Work for a car company, but drive an old a$$ car,
Freedom is relative, other grass might be greener,
This Jackass sold his soul for shiny new Beamer?
Fancy clothes must go to the cleaners,
Some might say I'm a dreamer,
But my nights are still filled with despair,
My back aches often and I think I'm losing my hair,
Don't spend enough time with my family,
And my social life's a calamity,
