For the past few years,
I've been a cog turned by a dozen gears,
I've had trouble getting a loan,
Trouble renting my home,
Trouble buying a suit,
Constantly getting the boot,
Trouble getting a raise,
A mouse trapped in a maze,
Driven to succeed, searching for the cheese,
Never seeking an exit, only aiming to please,
I worked extra hard, looked far and wide,
Until I finally found and ate my long sought after prize,
Moments later, I grabbed at my sides,
It was poisoned! The wrath of my master's test,
Realized that I was born to lose, but hey, at least I did my best!
Screaming to the other mice, hope that they hear & believe,
It's a trap! Run for your lives! F%&k the cheese!
