Black folks selling their homes gotta remember one thing,
The only things some whites love black are coffee and Dr. Martin Luther King,
When you stage your house, you must be keen,
Take down all of your pictures and please hide the afro sheen!
No wave brushes and cocca butter,
Or pictures of your mother,
Remove all African American people, places, and things, double check then think,
See you almost forgot that magic shave underneath the sink!
Hide your books and music too,
Pack away the autobiography of Malcolm X and D'Angelo's Voodoo,
Remove everything in your home that's a reflection of you,
Why do I lie to you and then lie to me?
Just to sell my home in this "post racial society?"
