Pleasure is fleeting and simple to measure,
We wear our anger like coats made of leather,
Love is volatile like tropical weather,
To the rich greed is good, to the vain envy is better,
Pride can evoke tears and warm the soul like a sweater,
Stress robs us of our best and oppresses like a fetter,
Compassion inspires one to forgive both trespasser and debtor,
Guilt makes us wilt, like a flower who wishes to be wetter,
Hope inspires all kinds to join as one, together…
