In The Garden of War

Satan—

Disguised cherub

Stole into the garden

The hawk

Devoured the dove

Same wing—

Different feathers

Are we not

Just a variation

Same is the saying—

Early worms get caught

Least sleeping birds arise late

May tomorrow dawn

Resurrection of the doves

May the true cherubs

Arise and soar

May the wings of hawks

Become featherless.

mlowe5 says:

after vision, as always, much appreciation for the feedback. How ironic it is that we often ignore the same on the Mother Continent. Colonialism/Neo-Colonialism: vague variations. War is war! Much Peace and Love, my Brother. mlowe5.
