Like the ebb
and flow
of tides
to thirsty shores,
so surreal
were the ups and downs
of our love.
Then at yesterday’s
sunset,
the moon
forsook us.
With lost gravity,
the thirsty tides
of our love
waned away:
Lost at sea
to return no more.
