Post Obama

The past 8 years,
Eased most of our fears,
But American life post Obama,
Feels like Monday morning drama,
Celebrations and protests - Social media's divided,
Some posts boast, others roast - most I ignored, to others I replied that I liked it,
Feels like we all got a new landlord,
Suddenly our rent's spent and we can no longer afford,
Prescriptions, care, honor and respect, life feels horrible,
Visits impossible, bills no longer affordable,
So in two and four more years, respectfully,
When I ask for your vote, I hope you're registered, healthy, and free...
