I'm on layaway
Girl he finally proposed
When is the wedding day
No one knows
I'm doing all the things a wife would do
But my wedding day I don't have a clue
I'm ask him and he says just be still
But on the inside I feel this enormous chill
That my special day will never come
So now I feel stupid and dumb
I'm so lost without any more words to say
I have to realize that he only gave me the ring to keep me on layaway
